Emergency First Aid at Work – Sports
This course is for anyone involved in the delivery of sport, from coaches and referees to club chairman and caterers. Learn the very latest techniques by qualified and experienced trainers. An enjoyable and practical course which explores the role of the First Aider and covers all the common injuries such as sprains and strains, as well as what to do in the event of something more serious occurring. The minimum age to attend this course is 16 years.
Each day will consist of the required 6 contact hours. Start Time 0900hrs end time 1630hrs. This will allow for 1 hour to be split throughout the day for Lunch, breaks and refreshments. Each course is classroom based with some practical work. Candidates should wear Suitable clothing for first aid practicals.
Light refreshments of tea & coffee etc. will be provided at suitable periods throughout the day. Lunch is not provided. Packed lunches can be consumed in the classroom.
